From Idea to Pitch Deck in 15 Minutes

Investors don't invest in products; they invest in stories. Your pitch deck is the visual aid for that story. Here is the standard 10-slide structure that has raised billions.

The 10-Slide Standard

  1. Title: Company name and one-line value prop.
  2. Problem: What is broken? (Use data/emotion).
  3. Solution: How do you fix it? (Show the product).
  4. Why Now?: Why hasn't this been solved before?
  5. Market Size: TAM, SAM, SOM. (Bottom-up calculation).
  6. Competition: Why are you 10x better?
  7. Product: How does it work? (Screenshots).
  8. Business Model: How do you make money?
  9. Team: Why are you the right people to build this?
  10. Ask: How much do you need and what will you achieve?

Common Mistakes

  • Too much text: Slides are for glancing, not reading.
  • Focusing on features, not benefits: Investors care about the outcome, not the implementation details.
  • Ignoring the "Why Now": If this is such a good idea, why isn't Google doing it? You need a compelling answer (e.g., new technology, regulatory change).

Automating the Process

Writing a deck is hard. That's why we built the Pitch Deck Specialist agent into SolidStartup.ai. It takes your validated idea and automatically generates the content for all 10 slides, tailored to your specific industry.

Stop staring at a blank PowerPoint. Let AI draft your story so you can focus on telling it.
